Obituary for Mark S. Kubacki

Mark Steven Kubacki, 63, of Bowling Green, OH passed away in his residence Sunday January 19, 2020. He was born March 7, 1956 to William Kubacki and Loretta (Wielga) Kubacki and both preceded him in death. Mark was also preceded in death by his wife Sandra (Johnston) Kubacki of 41 years on August 1, 2012

He is survived by his sons: Mitchell William Kubacki (Melissa), Matthew Steven Kubacki (Sarah), Michael Steven Kubacki (Alicia); grandchildren: Mitchell William Kubacki Jr., Kylie Morgan Kubacki, Skyler Simpson Kubacki, Parker Kubacki, Preston Kubacki and Madelynn Kubacki; sister: Kathleen (Kubacki) Moran (Michael); neice: Beth (Kubacki) Jay (Ron); great neice: Abby Jay. He is also survived by his dog/best friend Trapper.

Mark was hired into Jeep in 1975 and retired after 30 years in 2005 as a sheet metal specialist.

He was a graduate of Lake High School/Penta County where he was an all star high school baseball catcher.

His hobbies include his love to build and race hot rods, hand built from the ground up his own drag race jeep a CJ 5 and raced it at gravelrama. He entered this race numerous years and was the best, having his picture along with his jeep put on the front of a t-shirt, he was a avid hunter/fisher and was known all over Northwest Ohio as the top coyote/fox hunter. Mark holds the record in Ohio for 9 point typical whitetail through the buckeye big buck club. Mark loved shooting guns and helped so many people get into hunting and shooting sports. He was an avid pool player and a huge fan of the Denver Broncos and Boston Celtics.
