You died today old friend…
Since I was 10 years old you were by my side.
A force to be reckoned with.
A familiar face to say hello everyday.
With your snaggle fang and big green eyes.
You were there.
Sitting right in the way. Sometimes getting your tiny little tail stepped on. But always ready to forgive right after.
Always there to cuddle for hours and hours. Of course you couldn’t refuse. With the exception of the occasional snack and potty break. But You always came right back.
An avid lover of all things fine.
Just like the lady you were.
Sunbathing in the morning.
People watching all hours of the day.
Cheese, tuna, turkey, crackers.
Cheetos were always your favorite though.
A cozy blanket and pillow always at the ready.
The grocery bag protector and inspector.
My feisty little friend.
Always the risk taker.
Always so resilient.
You saw me through it all.
I could always count on you.
You never not had something to say.
Even when you couldn’t say much.
You always found a meow for me.
You loved every one that came into our life unconditionally.
You were the sweetest of girls and so you always will be.
You loved me for 17 years and I hoped I could have you forever.
6,080 days with you.
The book.
You filled a book full of a lifetime of precious memories.
I hope you found the rainbow bridge as quick as you could and all your old friends were waiting for you. You’ll even have some new friends. You’ll never be alone and we will always love you my sweetest little girl.
I’ll miss you. I love you forever and ever babygirl. Zoiey. zobobo. Zobe. The book of Zobe. Zoseph.
