In Loving Memory of
Wyman Davis “Mr. Hall of Fame”
October 14, 1947 – April 28, 2026
Wyman Davis, lovingly known as “Mr. Hall of Fame,” passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, in Toledo, Ohio, surrounded by the love of his family and friends. Born on October 14, 1947, Wyman lived a life defined by perseverance, dedication, strength, and love for his family and community.
Wyman worked for many years at Milford Fabricating until retiring for medical reasons. A hardworking and determined man, he never allowed obstacles to define him. One of his greatest passions was wheelchair basketball, where he not only played the game, he loved but also coached and inspired others for many years. His dedication and commitment to the sport earned him a place in the Wheelchair Hall of Fame in 2006 — an honor that reflected both his talent and his enduring spirit.
Above every title and accomplishment, Wyman’s greatest joy was his family. He loved deeply, laughed often, and made everyone around him feel special. His legacy of strength, love, and resilience will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew him. “Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
He shared a special bond with his daughter and best friend, Erika Armstrong, and leaves behind his children Maria Davis and Jesse Davis. He was a proud grandfather to Aleah, Jerrika, Aric, David, Deion, Wyman III, and Damien, and a cherished great-grandfather to King and his “baby doll,” Jakarria.
He is also survived by his brother Raymond Stevenson; his sister Donna (Brian) Crawford; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends, and his beloved Doves Manor family. Special thanks to his home health aide and future nurse.
Wyman was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Arcena Stevenson and son, Wyman Davis II.
Those who knew Wyman will remember his strength, wisdom, humor, and the way he encouraged others to keep pushing forward no matter the obstacles. His legacy of perseverance and love will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know him.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
