Wayne Mitchell Wilson

Wayne Mitchell Wilson, age 65, of Oregon, OH passed away at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center on February 5, 2023.  Wayne was born in Toledo to the late Elijah Barton and Oradella Overton.  Besides his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Elijah Wilson, Ronald Vassar, Maxine, Holly Koonce and Menulaus Wilson.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving brothers and sisters: Anthony Wilson, Miss Jewel Scott, Betty Jean Wilson, Bobbie Renae Wilson, Penelope Wilson; aunt: Cennie (Willie) Elder; host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Wayne graduated from Jessup Scott High School, he worked at the Docks for several years, and had an amazing voice.  He was a loving brother, uncle and a friend to many and he will be forever missed.  Wayne continued supporting and helping others throughout his life including at his end of life by being an organ donor.

The family would like to especially thank Wayne's nephews for their compassionate care.
