Troy Allan Betcher

 Troy Allan Betcher, age 48, passed away comfortably on April 23rd, 2025, at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Diagnosed with a terminal illness, he rapidly declined, and it brought a lot of melancholy for family and friends alike. Despite this, Troy was strong to fight through all of this and made an effort to have a peaceful end.

   Troy left behind his ex-partner Dawn Church; and their two children Lexus and Xavier Betcher. He is also survived by his mother Sue Betcher; his sister Tiffany Betcher; and his nieces and nephews Gabriel Betcher, Alyssa and Elija Dombrowski, Skyla, Wyatt, Ember, Memphis, and Wade Lessard. Lastly, he will be missed by LaVonne Carr; his other nieces Jena Carr and Justine Betz; and all other extended family and friends.

   Professionally, Troy had a career in the roofing industry. He had been working as a roofer for roughly 20+ years, doing jobs mostly in Toledo and surrounding areas.

   Troy was a supporter of the Cleveland Browns and loved watching football amongst other sports. In high school he participated in cross county, football, and band. As an adult, Troy took part in bowling and dart leagues. He found joy in playing video games, especially Gears of War, which he taught his children. Described by loved ones and friends as social, outgoing, funny, and competitive. Troy's vibrant personality will be deeply missed by all who knew him. The legacy he left behind is many cherished memories and especially his two children.
