Robert Soltis

Robert Soltis, age 65, of Millbury, OH passed away June 10, 2024.  Robert was born in Toledo, OH to the late Helen and Andrew Soltis Sr. Besides his parents, Robert is also preceded in death by his brother: Andrew J. Soltis Jr. and his long time furry best friend and hunting partner: Katie.

Left to cherish Robert’s memory is his loving children: Lauren (Justin) Wojciechowski, Abbie Soltis, Marissa (Troy) Rayle, Dylan Soltis; grandchildren: RJ Hahn V, Judah Wojciechowski, Oliver Rayle; brother: Lou Soltis, longtime family friend: Ashley Manning and mother of his children: Lisa Foos.

Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies.  He loved playing music and was the lead singer and guitarist for Candu Band. He had aspirations of forming a band in his later years that was named SILC (Something I Love Continues). He played in this band with his long-time friend Ray, and his son and best friend Dylan. Dylan was Robert’s best bud and they loved to rock and roll, play video games, and crack jokes. Family always came first especially his grandchildren.  He never knew a stranger and would talk to anyone. Robert told the best stories and always kept everyone laughing. Robert was a loving father, grandfather, brother and a friend who will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Habegger Funeral Services, 2001 Consaul Street, Toledo, OH 43605 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow at North Oregon Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in memory or Robert may be made to the family.
