Robert John Purnia

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son Robert John Purnia who passed away on July 7, 2025, at the age of 36 in Toledo, Ohio. 

He enjoyed music/djing, bowling, playing subway surf on his -· phone, and was an active member with the Salvation Army. He worked with the youth group, was active in the men's group and just helped out where needed. He enjoyed working at Ye Olde Durty Bird and felt like it was his second family.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin & Janet, his sister Janet Nicole Purnia (Finance Deonte Henson), his nephew Ryan William Jones, his aunt Bridget McCullough, his aunts and uncles Pamela (Jim) Nalodka, Laura (Howard) Davis, Judy (Dale) Hugill, Clara Nowak and his girlfriend Josette Kennedy plus many cousins and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert (Patricia) Purnia, Sharon Fuller from Alabama, his aunt Cheryl Shadle from Las Vegas, his uncles Keith Purnia, Gregory Purnia, Scot Nowak and many others.

We would like to thank everyone who helped out with the benefit dinner. We appreciate all the love and support from our family, friends and businesses that helped out. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son.
