Richard Schmidt Obituary

Richard Schmidt, 70, of Toledo, OH went home on Saturday, July 25, 2020. Rick was born August 21, 1949, to Roland (Rollie) and Ruth.

In his 70 years, Rick was a navy veteran, a University of Toledo graduate in journalism and the Vice President of Rollie Schmidt Inc. Rick enjoyed reading, writing, music, golf, bowling, the Cleveland Indians, and the Cleveland Browns.

Rick is survived by his mother, Ruth Harris, stepfather Jim Harris; daughters, Kristie (Alex) Medina and Carey (Jeff) Spitler; sons, Bryan (Kelli) Schmidt Jelinger, Nicholas Schmidt, and Richard "Andy" (Dayna) Schmidt; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Roland.
