Richard L. Posey

Richard L. Posey, age 89, of Walbridge, OH passed away January 30, 2025, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio surrounded by his loving family.  Richard was born in Fremont, Ohio to the late James and Helen Posey.  Besides his parents, Richard is also preceded in death by his spouses: Mary Lou Kitchen, Susanne Oates; son: Tim Posey and his sister: Sandra.

Left to cherish his memory is his sons: Scott (Trudi) Posey, Bill Posey, Jim (Linda) Posey; daughter-in-law: Nancy Posey; grandchildren: Erica (Simon) Messinger, Scott (Samantha) Posey, Jimmy Posey, Drew Posey; great grandchildren: Brock, Reid, Brayden, Landon and his sister: Maxine Posey.

Richard graduated from Gibsonburg High School, he enjoyed euchre and bowling with the East Toledo Club.  He was a certified master mechanic for Pontiac for over 50 years.  He was a huge Detroit Lions fan. 

The family would like to especially thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Comfort Keepers and Phyllis Pfitzer for their compassionate care.  A celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions in Richard’s honor may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
