Rachael Corine (Fontaine) Gibson

Rachael Gibson, age 61, of Toledo, OH passed away on October 19, 2024.  Rachael was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Raymond Fontaine Sr. and Peggy Fontaine.  Besides her father, Rachael is also preceded in death by her husbands: Marvin Davis and James Gibson; brother: James Fontaine; sister: Deborah Cox.

Left to cherish Rachael's memory is her loving significant other of 20 years: Michael Brun; mother: Peggy Y. (Mangum) (Fontaine) Hillabrand; half-brothers: Marty Fontaine, Raymond A. Fontaine Jr.; half-sister: Janet Pollauf; stepsisters: Dianne Cordell, Barbara Lovell, Wendy Hoodlebrink.

Rachael was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins and NASCAR. She was influenced by her father who raced Sprint cars.  She also was an enthusiast of snowmobiling and trail biking.  Rachael was the ultimate cat momma. She welcomed all strays in the neighborhood and offered them accommodations in the custom-built cat house. Today, this cat family includes our foundlings: Mendocino, Kodachrome and Kevin. Rachael's life was full of love and compassion for her family and friends.

A memorial service for Rachael will be held at Habegger Funeral Services, 2001 Consaul Street, Toledo, OH 43605 on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.
