Melferd "Gene" Eugene Hook

Gene Hook (Age 64) of Old Fort, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his home on December 18, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.

 Gene was loved by many; He loved to do handy work and would help anyone who needed a hand. He loved and cherished all of his family and friends. 

 Gene was proceeded in death by his Parents Melvin and Betty Hook, Son Douglas Hook, Two brothers Howard and Melvin Hook and Sister Cindy Fahle. 

 Survivors of Gene; Wife Teresa (Sam) Hook, Son Gene (Tiffany) Hook II of Sycamore, Son Timothy Hook of Tiffin, Son Matt (Jessica) Kendricks of Toledo, and son Thomas Brockbrader of Green Springs.

Gene had 19 grandkids and 3 Great-Grandkids. 

There will be no service at this time. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
