Louis Robert Shindledecker

Louis Robert Shindledecker, age 84, of Toledo, OH passed away February 18, 2024, at Promedica Flower Hospital.  Louis was born on January 17, 1940, in Bryan, OH to the late Doyle and Letha Shindledecker.  Besides his parents, Louis is also preceded in death by his wife: Pauline Shindledecker; grandson: David Blad; granddaughter: Lena Blad.  

Left to cherish his memory is his loving children: Robin (Jim) Wright, Louis Shindledecker II, Dawn Shindledecker (Charles Luker), John (Erica) Shindledecker; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; siblings: Goldie Wieland, Pete Shindledecker and Linda Tennison.

Louis was served his country in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.  He was a member of Barton Smith Masonic Lodge, a volunteer fireman for Bryan, Ohio.  He was an avid reader, amateur chef and a model maker.  Louis was a loving father, grandfather, brother and a friend to many who will be forever missed.
