Obituary
Lorraine Stanton, 95, of Walbridge, OH passed away September 5, 2022. Lorraine was born in Adrian, MI to the late Charles and Lillian Britt. Besides her parents, Lorraine is also preceded in death by her husband: Lester Stanton; sons: Lester "Peewee" Stanton, David Stanton; daughter: Cheryl Meyer; brother: Robert Britt; sister: Loretta Britt.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving daughters: Ondrea Brown, Christina Jenssen; grandson: Bob Stanton; sister: Marlene Hargrove; 19 grandchildren; 49 great grandchildren; 22 great-great grandchildren.
Lorraine was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and Detroit Tigers fan. She loved painting ceramics, playing bunco, dancing, cooking, baking, flowers, plants, gardening and bird watching. Lorraine was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, sister and a friend who will be forever missed. She enjoyed her family and loved feeding everyone who visited.
Visitation will be held at Habegger Funeral Services, 2001 Consaul Street, Toledo, OH 43605 on Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. The funeral service will be held at Vision Ministries, 1630 Broadway Street, Toledo, OH 43609 on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. A comital service will follow at Whiteford Union Cemetery, Lambertville, MI. Habegger Funeral Services is honored to serve the Stanton family.
