Leland Christopher Davenport, age 69, passed away after his battle with cancer on January, 14, 2026.
He was born to Ida Siravo and Robert Davenport in Louisville, Kentucky in 1956. He worked as a drywall finisher for the Local 886. Lee enjoyed catching up with friends over bowling, golfing, or even fishing. He was an avid camper and enjoyed bird watching. He would always check his campsites for eagles, his favorite bird. Eagles could also be seen in his artwork. Lee enjoyed painting landscapes and other natural scenes with his personal creative flare. The Ohio State Buckeyes could always be seen playing on his television. Aside from daughter and wife, he had a special place in his heart for his four-legged friend, Zander.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father. Leland is survived by: sister Debbie and husband Dave Richards, sister Kimmie Davenport, brothers Robbie and Sandy Davenport, Randy Davenport, Clayton and Michelle Davenport, daughter Mandy Davenport, 2 grandsons: LJ and Keshawn, and wife of 43 years, Karen Bacon Davenport of Oregon, Ohio.
