Kathryn Janet Kemley

Kathryn Janet Kemley Fahrer (Mia) passed away by loved ones at 11:11 pm on August 25, 2023, at Promedica Toledo Hospital.  Kathy was born at Toledo Hospital.  She lived a long and beautiful 78 years of life and anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her loved, adored and admired her.  She was glamorous, ornery and such a treasure to this world, and she will be greatly missed. 

She was born the daughter of Alva and Hazel Fahrer.  Youngest sibling of seven Suzy, Bud, Betty, Angie, Russ and Dorie Fahrer.

Mia will be loved and remembered by her husband: Gene (Bass); son: Chris (Kemley); grandchildren: Cassa and Kyli (Kirkendall); great grandchildren: Amara, Michael, AJ (Riley) and Terriana (Pettaway).

Preceded in death and welcomed in heaven by her parents: Alva and Hazel; siblings: Suzy, Bud, Russ; great grand-daughter Mia (Riley).

Family has decided to have a beautiful memorial for Kathy on Sunday, October 8th, 2023 at 3pm at the American Legion 204 Illinois Avenue Maumee, Ohio.  Family and loved ones are welcome to come join in the celebration of life for Kathy.

Kathy will forever be cherished and missed by so many.  She was the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back.  She was a beautiful wife and mother and she never skipped a beat when it came to her family or friends.  She touched everyone around her and when life touches others it lives forever.

-Those we love do not leave us, they walk alongside us every day. Unseen, unheard but always near.
