Joseph Scott "Joe" Morgan, 48, passed away on March 20, 2025, in Toledo, Ohio. He was born on September 7, 1976, in Port Jervis, New York. Joe was a skilled carpenter who took great pride in his craft. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed bonfires, hunting, and shooting. His loyal dog, Chevy, was always by his side. A devoted fan of *The Walking Dead*, he never allowed interruptions while watching his favorite show. Known for his heart of gold and infectious sense of humor, he brought laughter to those around him. He is survived by his daughter, Jenica Sardina of Fayetteville, North Carolina; his bonus children in Ohio—Austin, Alex, Eric, and Caitlin Zajac; his brothers John Reil (Amanda) of Sarasota, Florida; Ronald Reil (Tina) of Toledo, Ohio; and Michael Reil of Sparrowbush, New York; his sister Kristina Morgan and their brothers of New York; and his aunt Alana Talmadge of Port Jervis, New York. He also leaves behind lifelong friends who became family, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his beloved son, Dustin Morgan; his mother and stepfather, Barbara Caswell Waymen and Carl Raymond Waymen; his father, Joseph Morgan; his uncle, David Morgan; and his grandmother, Novel Shaw. Private services will be held at Habegger Funeral Services in Toledo, Ohio. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
