Joseph Robert DeCosta

Joseph Robert DeCosta Jr., 59, of Carleton, MI passed away February 4, 2023 at Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, OH.  Joseph was born in Monroe to the late Joan and Joseph DeCosta.  Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife: Lisa Schiewe; sister: Isabell DeCosta; cat: Snowball.

Joseph is survived by his children: Beverly Schiffler (Mike), Susie Wray (Miles) Brian Stevens; grandchildren: Serenity, Diamond, Jeremiah, Heaven, Nevaeh, Aliyah, Ariana, Melody and Anthony; sister: Carol; brother: Wesley; several nieces, nephews; cat: Fluffy.

Joseph enjoyed the casino and his cats.  His true love was spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren.  He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and a friend who will be forever missed.
