John Lewis Thomas, age 70, of Wauseon, Ohio passed away March 20, 2022. John was born in Toledo, Ohio March 25, 1951 to Carl and Cleo (Hathaway) Thomas. In adition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by: sister Connie Thomas; and brother Lewis Owen Thomas.

John is survived by: his wife of 48 years JoAnn (Feltner) Thomas; daughters Carla (Chris) McLaughlin of LaCarne, Ohio and Michelle (Marcus) Bailey of Wauseon, Ohio; son John (Geri) Thomas of Toledo, Ohio; brother Lee Allen Thomas of Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren Cassaundra McLaughlin; Marcus, Jr., Michael, and Mariah Bailey; and great grandchild Christopher Krause.

John loved trips with his family, cooking, fishing, and playing the Ohio Lottery. He had the best sense of humor even when he was sick. He had a smile that would light up the room. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a friend who will be forever missed.
