Jesse Perez, 76, of Perrysburg, Oh passed away January 11, 2022. 

Jesse Perez, age 76, of Perrysburg, OH passed away January 11, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Jesse was born in Laredo, TX to the late Jesus and Delia Perez. Besides his parents, Jesse is proceeded in death by his best friend and brother Hector Perez, and daughter Nelda Ormsby.

Jesse took great pride in his work, he was known as the perfectionist by his buddies on the job. Through the years he always reminisced and shared stories about his days with Bowers Asphalt company. In his younger days he enjoyed playing softball on several local teams. His true passion was working on cars, anytime we couldn’t find him he was in the garage. 

With his unique personality Jesse was a man of very few words. With age came wisdom, and he grew into quite the story teller. Later in life Jesse looked forward to phone calls and get togethers with family and friends. 

Jesse’s memory will be carried on by, his loving Wife of 60 years Mary Jane Perez; Children: Diana (Jose) Ruiz, Idahlia (Dennis) Perry, Alma Perez, Jaime Perez, Armando Perez, Anjelica (Anthony) Jones, and Longtime family friend/“adoptive” daughter Becky Estep; Grandchildren: Maria Beebe, Ana Ruiz, Jose Ruiz III, Alejandra Ruiz, Eric Lauderbaugh, Dennis Perry Jr., Dustin Perry, Micheal Perry, Jacob Perry, Nathaniel Perez, LaTisha Williams, Charles Williams III, Gabrielle Perez, Codey Ormsby, Corey Ormsby, Casey Ormsby, Amara Perez, Luna Perez, Aryana Smith, James Smith, Armando Perez Jr., Jesus Perez, Esperanza Perez, Estrella Perez, Diego Perez, Joaquin Rodriguez, Anthony Jones, Anastacia Jones, and Annabella Jones; 35 Great Grandkids, and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. 

Funeral Services will be held January 28, 2022, 10:30 AM at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front Street Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.  A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held from12 Noon - 3pm at Perrysburg Height Community Center, 12282 Jefferson, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.
