Jessie B. (Frushour) Geis, age 88, of Holland, OH, died Monday, October 20, 2025 at Majestic Care of Toledo, after her battle with Parkinson’s. Jessie was born December 7,1936 in Toledo to Lela McComskey and Robert C Frushour. She married Harold A Geis, Jr. on October 4,1958. Jessie was a homemaker, and cleaned homes for others after her children were grown. She was a member of Holland Free Methodist church for 38 years, and there she taught bible study for several years. She was a member of the Lucas County Republican Central Committee for Springfield 6. Many years, she devoted her time packing boxes for soldiers through Hero’s In Action also. Jessie loved to travel , fish, and go camping. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother dedicated to her family and God.
Surviving are her sons, Rob (Denise) Geis of Reed City, MI, Tim (Joy) Geis of Monclova, OH, and Greg (Denise) of Temperance, MI; her grandchildren Torrie Geis, Jeffery Geis, Hilary (Jesse) Filbrun, Natalie (Dave) Griffiths, Whitney (Drew) Hertzfeld, Amy (Matt) Geis, Eric Douglas, and Travis Douglas; great grandchildren Haley (Blue) Repp, Tyler Hamby, Chelsey (Colin) Richardson, Zac Geis, Mason Filbrun, Jack Filbrun, Daisy Filbrun, Clara Hertzfeld, Eli Hertzfeld, Isaac Hertzfeld, Lila Hertzfeld, Thea Hertzfeld, Warren Hertzfeld, Emma Hertzfeld, Addison Griffiths, Sophia Griffiths, Maylen Griffiths, Jenna Douglas, Tyler Douglas, Loren Douglas, Carlee Douglas; and one great great grandchild, Sutton Richardson. She was proceeded in death by husband, Harold A Geis, Jr.; brothers and sisters: Robert Frushour Jr., Michael (Barbara) Grames, Elvin Grames Jr., Marie (Dave) Dennis, Geraldine (Robert) Disher, Linda (Jack) Forrest, Jack Geis, Donald (Janet) Geis, and Gayetta Paskan.
Family and Friends are invited to the Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Rd. Holland, Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 10am for showing and funeral service immediately following at 11am, with Pastor Keith Simpson officiating. Interment at Springfield Township Cemetery, and back to Holland Free Methodist Church for a luncheon. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donating to Holland Free Methodist Church. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Heartland Hospice, doctors, nurses, aides, and many friends/families who helped with care for Jessie.
