Jeffrey L. Gadsby

Jeffrey L. Gadsby, age 69, of Northwood, OH passed away March 20, 2026.  Jeff was born in Grove City, PA to the late Wallace and Martha Doverspike Gadsby. Besides his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son: Aaron Joseph "AJ"; and an older sister.

He graduated from Grove City High School and worked for Hulcher Services in Mercer, PA, Johnstown, PA, Gettysburg, PA and Toledo, OH form 1976 until 2007. Then he went to work at Toledo Edison until his retirement in 2023. 

Jeff is survived by his wife Betty Muffly Gadsby of 50 years who he married February 21, 1976, in Transfer, PA; son: Shannon (Amanda) Gadsby of Bowling Green, OH; daughter: Valerie (Brian) Maxey of Toledo, OH; daughter-in-law: Lisa Garcia Gadsby of Moline, OH; grandchildren: Taylor Maxey, Jayc Maxey, Lillian Gadsby, Logan Gadsby, Ella Gadsby; sisters: Tammie (Tom) Hillman, Shelia Hazen; numerous aunts, uncles, 2 nephews, 8 nieces and many beloved cousins.

A celebration of life services will be held at Walbridge Senior Center, 705 N. Main St., Walbridge, OH 43465 on Saturday, May 9, 2026, beginning at 1:00 P.M.
