James William Nicholson "Painter Jim", 61 years of coolness, helpfulness and friend to many, passed away leaving behind a lifetime of memories, laughter, and stories that will live on through those who knew and loved him.

James lived life on his own terms — unapologetically, independently, and with a spirit that could never be mistaken for anyone else’s. He believed in doing things his way, and that authenticity is exactly what made him so memorable to family and friends alike.

Whether through his humor, presence, stubbornness, wisdom, or simply the way he carried himself, James made an impression that won’t be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though he is gone, the memories, lessons, and moments shared with him will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
