James Mohn Obituary

James Ran Mohn, 81, passed away on May 30, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Northwood, OH to Russel and Evelyn Mohn in 1940. He graduated from Olney in 1959 and married his high school sweetheart Patricia in 1961, after which he joined the Navy where he became a corpsman for 4 years. He was active in the community as a volunteer fireman, baseball coach, and he loved to be a clown in parades. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He was a cutter grinder at General Motors and retired in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia (Adkins) Mohn, 2 sons Jack (Leslie) and Joel (Jasmine) and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 brothers and sisters. Please join us for a celebration of life, which will be held at the VFW In Northwood on Friday June 10th from 2 – 8 pm.
