Jacquelyn Ann Renshler, age 81, of Fenton, MI passed away April 28, 2026. Jackie was born September 3, 1944, in Toledo, OH to the late John Wesley Renshler and Anna Catherine (Mitsch) Renshler. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister: Mary Clark; brothers: John Renshler and Ricky Renshler.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother: Jimmy Renshler; sister: Jeanine Short.
Jackie dedicated nearly 30 years to teaching at Fenton Community Schools, retiring in 2000 after many fulfilling years as a first-grade teacher at North Road Elementary School. She was a gifted musician with perfect pitch and shared her talents through decades of music ministry, directing church choirs and leading worship. Most recently, she attended Holly Calvary Church. Jackie was also a devoted member of the Michigan-Ohio Concert Choir, where she sang under the direction of Thurlow Spurr for 43 years, performing throughout Michigan and Ohio.
She found great joy in traveling across the United States with family and friends, and her adventures also took her abroad, including trips to Israel and Brazil on a mission journey. A creative and talented individual, Jackie delighted in making hand-crafted greeting cards and bookmarks to share with loved ones. She also enjoyed gardening, quilting, scrapbooking, and playing cards with friends. Jackie was a loving sister, aunt and a friend to many who will be forever missed.
A celebration of life service will be held at Holly Calvary Church, 15010 N. Holly Road, Holly, MI 48442 on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 @ 1:00 P.M. with pastor Cliff Schroeder officiating. Interment will be held at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park, 4210 Central Ave., Toledo, OH 43606 on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 @ 1:00 P.M. Habegger Funeral Services is honored to serve the Renshler family.
