Hope Ellen Miller, 54, of Findlay, Ohio, passed away June 6th, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Though her time with us feels far too short, the love, kindness, and joy she shared throughout her life will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Hope was born in Wauseon, Ohio, to Gene Gerlach and Cheryl Miller. She was a devoted daughter, sister, partner, mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest happiness came from spending time with those she loved. Family was at the center of her life, and she treasured every opportunity to gather with loved ones, especially when cheering on her grandson at sporting events.
Hope had a gift for finding joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved bargain shopping and was always excited to share a great deal with family and friends. She cherished wine nights spent laughing and making memories with her sisters and the friends she considered family. Her warm spirit, infectious smile, and genuine compassion made everyone around her feel welcomed and loved.
Known for her kind heart and generous nature, Hope was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She loved deeply and unconditionally, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Hope is survived by her partner, Kevin Oehler; her four daughters, Telza (Cody) Putnam, Alizta Pelfrey, Carzin (Justin) Glass, and Haliegh (Kyle) Lundgren; her father, Gene (Bonnie) Gerlach; her siblings, Michelle (Jerimiah) Power, Jennifer (Scott) Cupps, Cory Gerlach and Todd (Amber) Gerlach; as well as her nine cherished grandchildren; Braelyn, Zebidiah, Browley, Willow, Tommy, Tekota, Maizliegh, Reid and Evalyn, extended family, and many dear friends.
While her family mourns her passing, they also celebrate a life filled with love, laughter, generosity, and unforgettable memories. Hope's legacy lives on through her children, grandchildren, family, and the many lives she touched with her kindness and caring heart.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date; the family will make others aware of time and location. Habegger Funeral Services is honored to serve the Miller family. We encourage you to share a fond memory or condolence by visiting www.habeggerfuneralservices.com
