Henry Watkins, age 42, of Toledo, OH passed away December 6, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, creativity, and cherish memories.
Henry was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Lillie Walker, whose warmth and guidance shaped his life.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Nadine Watkins (Donna), who was his constant source of strength and support. Henry's greatest joy was being a loving father of his three children: Myair Watkins, Liliana Watkins, and Monir Watkins. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Richard (Anna) Watkins, Jason (Ramona) Watkins, Roger Watkins, Chris Watkins, and Matthew Watkins, as well as his sisters, Janel Watkins, Laura Watkins, and Amanda Kizer. Henry also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who were blessed to know him.
Special friends Cameron (Latashia) Stewart, Phillip Stewart, Brian Stewart, Nolan Battle, Steve Coley, and Christina Jones held a unique place in Henry's life and will forever remember his humor, kindness, and the joy he brought to their lives.
Henry was a man of many talents and passions. He had a natural gift for drawing and tattoo artistry, which he used to express his creativity and connect with others. Music was another deep love of his - he enjoyed listening to it, rapping, and performing his own original songs. His vibrant personality, infectious laugh, and love of joking around made unforgettable to everyone he met.
Above all, henry was a devoted father, a loving son, a supportive brother, and a loyal friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and his presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Visitation will be held at Habegger Funeral Services, 2001 Consaul Street, Toledo, OH 43605 on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 2:00 P.M. until the Celebration of Life service which will begin at 4:00 P.M.
