Gina "Ollie" Marie Arndt, aged 66, Toledo, OH, passed away on June 2, 2024, in Toledo, OH. She was born on August 7, 1957, to Elaine Young and Marvin Arndt in Port Clinton, OH.
Gina was a beautiful soul who loved gardening, crocheting, sewing, and cooking for friends. She enjoyed spending time with loved ones and enhancing their lives. Known for her Apple Cheesecake, Gina was always there to bring sweet treats to her friends and have good time. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at Trot‘N Charlie’s. In her earlier years was a dedicated 4-H Advisor and actively involved in her daughter's school PTA, ensuring her daughters & grandchildren had amazing home-sewn Halloween costumes. One of her favorites included a Rainbow Bright, Donald & Daisy Duck.
Gina started as a postal worker in Rocky Ridge, OH. She later worked at Lutheran Mercy in Williston and eventually retired from Sunshine Communities in 2022.
Gina is survived by her mother Elaine Young, father Marvin (Sandy)Arndt, daughters Carrie (Eric) Shanteau-Wolf, and Angie (Bill) Webert, sisters Beth (Gary M) Seeger and Gay (Jeff) Carter, half-brother Brent (Heather) Arndt, half-sister Jamie (Juan) McCoy Gomez, stepsister Kandy (Ed) Witt Thurn, and stepbrothers Tracy Witt and Troy Witt. Grandchildren Conner, Xavier & Maverick Webert, Brooke (Anthony) Hodulik, Chloe (Nick) Delauter, Britnee (Richard) Harris, Allison (Dustin Thorbahn) Wolf. Great-Grandchildren Lyla Delauter, Knox, Navy and Nash Harris and Tessa Thorbahn. Along with significant other Randy Baumert.
She was preceded in death by stepfather Ray Young, son-in-law Robert Shanteau, and grandparents Ernest & Marie Bebow, Frank Arndt, and Rozella Dettman.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Rocky Ridge and once taught Sunday School.
