Ernest Kight, II

Ernest Kight, II, age 29, of Toledo, Ohio passed away July 27, 2024.  He was born August 19, 1994, in Toledo, Ohio to Ernest Kight, Sr.. and Lisa Sumrow.

In Addition to his father, Ernest is preceded in death by grandparents: Willie Kight, Sr.; Gwendolin Kight; Leonard Sumrow, Sr.; Rosa Roberts; Lester Roberts, Sr.; aunts Marie Kight; Cora Lee; and uncle Jeffrey Roberts.

Left to cherish his memory are Mother Lisa Sumrow; Grandmother Mary A. Sumrow; brother Travis Sumrow; Tony Hall; Timon Hall; Tyjuan Sutter; niece Mikayla Sumrow; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Ernest was a graduate of Jessup W. Scott High School.  He enjoyed bowling, singing, and playing video games.  He was a member of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, where he sang in the youth an adult choirs.  He later joined the Toledo Youth Choir.

Services will be held August 10, 2024, at New Beginnings Faith Ministries located at 4640 South Detroit Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43614 with at wake at 11:00 AM and funeral service at 12:00 PM.
