Douglas Keith Brown

Douglas Brown, 63, of Monroe Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2023, surrounded by his family. Doug was the son of the late Harold and Oleata Brown and was born on October 17, 1959, in Dearborn Michigan. In 1983 Doug married the love of his life Maureen Brown (Hass) and they went on to have 2 children who they raised in Wyandotte Michigan.
Throughout his life Doug’s humor was known to conquer any situation and he loved to tell everyone his stories. Doug loved to laugh. Music was also a passion of his and was more than a melody, Doug heard the stories told within the music and loved to listen to those stories over and over, from country to Elvis, Doug could be counted on to find a song to fit any need. 
Doug was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Alison Brown and Cheryl Schley (Brown), father-in-law Robert Hass and nephew Ryan Gensler. He is survived by his loving wife Maureen Brown (Hass), 2 children, Amy ( Andrew) Wawrzyniak, Chris (Chelsie) Brown, his 4 grandchildren, Camden (9), Emersen (8), Rush (6) Braxten (1), 4 step grandchildren,  Brothers Randy (Wendy) Brown, James (Sue) Brown, sister Joan (Lee) Lewandowski, his brother in Laws Michael (Pam) Hass, Mark (Michelle) Hass, sister in laws Michelle (Fred) Arooji, Marilyn Hass-Gensler, Melanie ( Jim) Vallet and his Mother in Law Marion Hass. He also has many nieces and nephews who will all miss calling him Uncle Tootie.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date and that information will be available via the family.
