Donald “Don” W. Bailey, 64 year old retired truck driver of Oregon Ohio, passed unexpectedly in his home on Saturday June 4th. Born to Harold and Mary J. Bailey (Parse) on December 28th, 1957, Don was the youngest of 4 children.
Don always loved being outdoors, he loved to go camping, take long walks or hike trails, tend to his garden or just sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. He also was known for his love of animals, especially dogs and was often referred to as “the dog whisperer.” Over the years he had several loyal canine companions, most recently a red heeler named Ronan. What Don loved and enjoyed most in this world was spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Nancy Ketteringham and Brother James “Jim”. He is survived by his eldest sister Linda Rains, 3 daughters Mary (Jack Kauffman), Kimberly (Matt Bowland), Jennifer (Robbie Keith), and 9 grandchildren, 5 girls 4 boys.
Don was a friendly and outgoing guy, always making friends with strangers he'd meet. His death is sure to be felt by many, especially his daughters and loved ones.
