Delores Emery Estis

Delores Emery Estis, 69, of Toledo, Ohio passed away June 3, 2022 at Ayden Healthcare, Toledo, Ohio.  Delores was affectionately known as "Cookie" began her life's journey on April 20, 1953.  Cookie was called home to be with our heavenly father June 3, 2022. 

Waiting to welcome "Cookie" at heaven doors will be her parents: Ossie B. Estis and Emite Estis; sisters: Georgia L. Estis, Sharonda Estis; brothers: Emite Estis Jr., Roy L. Estis, Larry D. Estis, Allen Estis; sons: Clark K. Estis, Alfred D. Estis; nephews: Darnell A. Estis and Ed Russell Taylor III.

Cookie leaves to cherish her memories are her loving son: Toney A. Estis (Melissa); sisters: Theresa Estis (Otis), Verlin Estis, Barbara Estis; brothers: Terry I. Estis, Alvin L. Estis, Bob Estis; 11 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and a host of family and friends.

Words are hard to find to describe the kind of woman she was throughout her young life.  Cookie attended Libbey High School and last worked at the Park Inn Hotel.  A family oriented woman that loved to cook, Cookie also loved her children and grandchildren from her past time.  She would love shopping with her sisters, loved to ride and listen to 2 Pac and always was interested in Keeping up with the Toledo Blade and News Channel while drinking her coffee.  Cookie was always loving and giving to those she loved dearly.
