Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Riley, age 62, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, with her daughter and son-in-law by her side.
Born on January 15, 1963, to Donald and Carrolene Riley of Hickman, KY. Debbie was a proud Southern woman known for her sass, strength, and deep love for her family. She was a lifelong fan of Days of Our Lives, having watched it from the very first episode—a daily ritual that brought her comfort and joy for decades.
In her later years, Debbie found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved granddaughter, and her best friend, Cory. Together they played Barbies, watched TV, snuggled, and shared countless special moments. Coral was truly the light of her life.
An avid lover of classic rock, Debbie also loved sharing stories of her wild and colorful upbringing in the South. She had a fiery spirit, a loving heart, and a wit that never failed to bring a smile. After 50 years, Debbie proudly quit smoking—a testament to her determination and strength.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Carrolene Riley, and her great-niece, Madison Claire Riley.
She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Riley; granddaughter, Coral Devor; and son-in-law, Jason Devor of Toledo, OH. She is also survived by her brother, Donald (Sharon) Riley of Hickman, KY; and her sister, Gwen (Joe) Stafford of Obion, TN. Her legacy continues through her nieces and nephews: Jeremy (Alli) Riley, Christopher Stafford, Jessica (Brian) Brimm, DJ Riley, and John Alexander; as well as her great-nieces and nephews: Brooklyn Riley, Masin Riley, McKinley Riley, Gunner Stafford, Brian Brimm Jr., Matthew Brimm, Kaitlynn Brimm, and Carson Brimm.
No services are planned at this time, but the family intends to hold a celebration of life in her honor at a later date.
Debbie's love, laughter, and stories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
