David Ray Cromer-Sharp “Crocket” passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Toledo.
David was born on April 27, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio to James Sharp and Mary McGee. David grew up in Tennessee until age 11. He enjoyed visiting “home” quite often. David spent 4years in the army. He was part of the honor guard in which he showed his patriotism. David worked many jobs to provide for his family which included industrial painting, sandblasting, and then finally driving “big trucks”. David enjoyed playing and watching many sports. He was talented in many of the sports he did. He did score a hole in one. David married the love of his life Naomi Carson August 15, 1992, and together they started their family.
David is survived by his wife Naomi, their sons: Terry and Allan; along with their fur babies: Lucky Dog and Jaxxson Puppy; his mother: Mary; his siblings: James Cromer, Sketter (Dorothy) Cromer, Stacey (Cynthia) Cromer; his very close cousin: Danny (Jennie) Broyles; sister-in-law: Lisa; and brother-in-law: Chuck (Sheri); his many cousins, nieces, nephews, along with many friends. David is proceeded in death by his grandparents: Maggie and Wheeler Sharp; his father: James Sharp; his stepfathers: Robert "Frosty, the tow man” Cromer, and James Smith; his brother: Terry Cromer; and his favorite mother-in-law: Naomi Behrens.
