David Lee Moore

It is with great sadness that the family of David Lee Moore departed his life on October 6th, 2025, following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 68 years old. David will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Marcia Ann Leona; children, Delinetta, Jeffrey, Jerry; grandchildren, Andre, Dontae, Jeffrey Jr., Danisha, Jonathan, D'Angelo, Orlando, Elijah, Jacob, Zavion, Scarlet, Adlen; great-grandchildren, Noah, Jaxson, Dariyah, Aubri, Zoe, Anailyah, and Zanae; his brothers, Neal, Jarvis, Roderick; sisters-in-law, Deborah, Sheila, Sharon, and Wanda.

David was born December 15th, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio. He was born to the union of John and Bessie Moore. David went to Libby High School where he left and started working at National Wire for 29 years. David enjoyed playing cards, talking plenty mess when he played. He also had a passion for football and basketball. His teams were the Red Skins, although he did not like the new name, Bengals, and the Sooners. His favorite basketball teams were the Bucks and the Spurs. 

David had a loving heart and soul. He truly loved his wife and family with all of his heart. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk up to Heaven and bring you home again.
