David C. Creps

David C. Creps, 75, of Perrysburg, OH passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2026, at St. Vincent's Heart and Vascular Hospital in Toledo, OH. He was born December 9, 1950, in Washington, PA. The 2nd middle child, a son of the late Richard H. Creps Sr. and H. Edith Creps of Langeloth, PA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by an older brother, Richard H. Creps Jr., a nephew, Edward Peter Yandrich, father-in-law, John Yaworski, mother-in-law, Frances Yaworski, sisters-in-law, Margaret Danna and Donna Yaworski and a brother-in-law, Edward Yandrich.

David was a 1968 graduate of Burgettstown Jr-Sr High School and a 1972 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a BS degree in Civil Engineering. David enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, making hot sauce with his sons, fishing, listening to all sorts of music especially country and doo wops and singing along with his favorite songs, and dancing with his wife. He enjoyed meeting up with his few close friends to have a beer, chit chat, listen to the juke box, sing and tell his endless funny jokes. One of his favorite things to do was going outside at our house and having a bonfire, drinking a beer listening to music. He was known for his kind spirit, strong sense of responsibility and a deep love for his family. He treasured time spent with family during our yearly summer vacations and special holidays. He took special pride in his work, a job well done, He was a perfectionist.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of 51 years of marriage, his 4 loving children: Amanda R. (Paul) Burns of Lambertville, MI, David Chad Creps and Thomas Sonny Creps both of Perrysburg, OH and Kristen A. Creps (Nick) of Toledo, OH; two granddaughters: Hayden Creps age 16 of Lambertville, MI and Gwynavere Myers age 4 of Toledo, OH; a sister: Audrey Yandrich of Atlasburg, PA; brothers-in-law: Stanley J. Yaworski, Joe Yaworski, and Robert Yaworski; sisters-in-law: Frances Pleska, Mary Ann Marsella and Shirley Maurer; a niece: April Yandrich (Jon) of Pittsburgh, PA; a nephew: Richard H. Creps III (Michele) of Oakdale, PA; 2 great nephews: Richmond and Richart both of Oakdale; and a cousin: Bob Creps (Beverly) of Burgettstown, PA; and a course of fur babies: Bella and Maizee and all the other grand dogs. There will be no visitations before cremation services. A memorial service may be held at a later date.
