David William Barrett

David W Barrett. Age 82, of Grand Rapids OH passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on October 5th, 2022, following a 6-month battle with Cancer. David was born in Toledo OH on June 4th, 1940, to the late Kenneth and Gertrude (Trudy German) Barrett. David was a graduate of Waite High School and is a retired semi-truck driver. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his loving wife Sandra Sue (Henson) Barrett. David is survived by his significant other and loving caregiver and best friend Beverly (Bev) Montie; Sister: Joy Singleton of Macomb MI: Children: Robbie (Tina) Barrett of Swanton OH, Dean Barker of San Diego CA, and Nathan (Kristen) Barrett of Aurora OH. Grandchildren: Danielle Barker of Los Angeles CA (Dean) and Parker Barrett of Aurora OH (Nathan), as well as nieces: Jonna Miniot, Julie Demers, and Jillian Sheridan.
