Clyde Emery Fraley

It is with deep affection that we honor the memory of Clyde Emery Fraley, who passed away on May 14, 2026, in Holland, Ohio, at the age of 83. Emery departed peacefully, surrounded by his family and the caring staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Born on May 20, 1942, to Emery and Virgie Fraley, he was one of several siblings, including Phyllis, Ray, Naomi, Duane, Mae, David, Lawrence, and Leonard.

Emery will be cherished by his loving and beautiful, wife, Joan Fraley, along with his children: Mike (Paula), Brian (Calla), Clyde (Stephanie), and Evelyn, as well as his stepchildren, Tina (Ken) and Dawn (Craig). He was also adored by all fourteen of his grandchildren. A dedicated carpenter for most of his life, he is lovingly remembered by his children as a hardworking and nurturing father. Known for his ability to sing to strangers wherever he went, Emery had a special talent for making everyone feel valued and unique.

His kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family will always be remembered. Most importantly, Emery had a profound love for the Lord and eagerly shared his testimony with everyone he encountered. His cherished verse was John 3:16: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Emery will forever be remembered for his voice, infectious laughter, dedication to hard work, and profound love for Christ. He will be deeply missed by many until we reunite in heaven.
