Ciera Lynn Gillard

Ciera Lynn Gillard, age 33, passed from this life to be with our heavenly Father on Sunday, November 21, 2021. Ciera was born in Toledo, OH on February 10, 1988, to Deborah A. Wilson and Bobby L. Gillard, Sr.  

Ciera was raised in Oregon, OH where she graduated from Clay High School in 2006. While attending Clay she played basketball, participated in Marketing Education/DECA, and earned an academic scholarship to attend the University of Toledo. She was very computer savvy and worked various jobs in customer service, retail, marketing, and sales throughout the Toledo area. She enjoyed taking care of kids, working on the computer, reading, and spending time with family and friends.  

Ciera had a loving heart, a kind spirit, and a true desire to live a successful and fully engaged life. She had a genuine love for her family and friends and would extend herself in love and kindness to those she loved and cared about most.  

Ciera was preceded in death by grandparents Willie A. and Sally S. Wilson, and Clarence, Sr. and Annie Gillard; uncles, Mitchell D. and Michael D. Wilson; uncles Clarence, Jr., Lawrence, Duane, and Ronald Gillard.  

She leaves to cherish her memories parents Deborah A. Wilson and Bobby L. Gillard, Sr.; brothers, Jason L. Wilson and Bobby L. Gillard, Jr.; nephews LJ Wilson and Bobby Gillard; nieces Shantel, SeNyia and Gia Wilson, Treaona and Mychel Gillard; great-nephews Legend and Jacory Wilson; uncles, William (Dorothy) and Wendell Wilson; uncles, Willie, Mark (Joyce), Joseph, John (Beth) Gillard; aunts, Lucille Gillard, Evelyn (Toney) Gillard-Jackson, Sharon Hightower (Romell), and Lisa (Daniel) Gamble; and a host of great aunts and uncles; cousins, family members, and friends. Ciera was greatly loved and will forever be missed by those who loved and knew her, especially including nephew LJ Wilson (and family), and special friend Christina Brooks.  

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Habegger Funeral Services, 2001 Consaul St., Toledo, OH at 1:00 P.M.  Habegger Funeral Services is honored to serve the family of Ciera L.
