Charles Brian Watson

Charles Brian Watson was born on Dec. 15, 1965. He grew up in the Toledo area.  The son of Charles Watson, he called two women Mom, Martha Watson and Barbara Watson. He graduated from Anthony Wayne High school.

He spent his life enjoying time with family and his dog Scrappy. Charles enjoyed a party and he had many reasons to celebrate with his large family. Charles and Dorreene brought together a family of 6 children over 20 years ago. He is survived by 3 sons Jacob, Joseph and William and 3 daughters Billie Jean, Daphane and Freda. They in turn, blessed Charles and Dorreene with 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He worked with cars most of his life. He was a long-time employee of Discount Lube Inc. where he enjoyed a close friendship with Kamal, the owner. Charles enjoyed time fishing and hunting whenever he could.  He leaves a legacy of love and holding strong.

His family includes as well his sister Wanda Knowles, and brothers Gerald Watson (Santy), John Woods and Earl Woods. Grandchildren are Shawn, Stashia, Arlee, Kamia, Bianca, Jackie, Samantha, Saint Geo, Dante, and Estrella. Great grandchildren Alaia, Samara, Amir, Alina and Millie.

Visitation for Charles will be held at Habegger Funeral Services, 2001 Consaul St., Toledo, OH 43605 on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the funeral services at 4:00 P.M.
