Catherine Lee Edwards

Catherine Edwards, 62, died Monday, January 23, 2023. Known to most as Kate or Aunt Taffy, she was a great lover of family. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Parks (Eric) and her son Christopher Edwards. She is also survived by her sisters Deborah Lisk, Rebecca Williams, and brother Michael Brockhoff (Tom). She was proceeded in death by her parents Donna and Wilford Brockhoff, her granddaughter Isabella Edwards and brother in law John Lisk.

Cathy grew up in Sylvania and graduated from Sylvania Southview. She went on to attend The Defiance College, and got her degree in history and education. She spent most of her career as a General Manager for Wendy’s. Here she used her skills as an educator to be the first boss of many young people.

Cathy loved to travel. She never met a beach she did not love. She enjoyed traveling to Florida in the winter to escape the cold Ohio weather. Her other interests were cowboy television, laying in the sun, shopping, and loving her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was the fun aunt who always made them feel loved and welcome.

Her wish was to have no service. Her family would suggest that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society. A celebration of her life will be planned for the spring.
