Beverly Jean (Howard) Workman passed away at the age of 89 on June 21, 2024, in Monroe, MI of congestive heart failure.
Born September 23, 1934, in Fremont, MI to William and Helen (Lundgren) Howard. Her mother passed away at the age of 24 and her father remarried in 1944 to Dolores.
She married Richard Workman on October 28, 1955. Together they had five children, Richard William, Ruth Elizabeth (Marino), Timothy Martin, Catherine Jean (Raymond) and Pamala Sue (Bruce) she also had 3 foster children for a period of time.
Divorced in October 1985 and never remarried.
She wore many ‘hats’ in life. Including Pastor’s wife, bookkeeper, secretary, payroll clerk and even worked at Hooker Electrochemical Co. as a young woman.
She was the grandmother of 12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She had three brothers and a sister who loved her very much. Ronald, Gerald, William (Melodie) and Leslie (Gary).
She resided the last 16 years in Monroe, MI with her daughter (Pam) and son-in-law (Bruce).
She was an avid reader, reading two or three books a week!! James Patterson was her favorite author. She also enjoyed doing crosswords, knitting and crocheting. She also was a HUGE fan of the Tigers and the Red Wings!!
She had many loved ones who preceded her in death waiting to welcome her home to the Kingdom of Heaven.
