Barbara Seiple

Barbara A. Seiple, age 90, passed away on December 21, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Barbara was born in Toledo, Ohio on March 20, 1932, to George and Miriam Lane. She attended Waite High School and lived in Toledo all her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Marion B. Seiple, parents George H. Lane and Miriam E. Lane, brother Robert H. Lane, and sister Sharon L. Lane.

She is survived by her children Mark (Gayle) Seiple, Rebekah (Scott) Atkin, Scott Seiple, Julie Lineberry; her grandchildren Jessica Seiple, Derek (Paola) Seiple, Nathan (Anna) Seiple, Sarah (Greg) Crana, Stacey Atkin, Michael (Anna) Atkin, Benjamin Seiple, Chris (Amy) Harrold, Amanda (Marty) Bonnington, April Harrold; great-grandchildren Chace, Lucas, Kempton, Beckham, Brandon, Bryce, Jonathan, Sophia; and great-great-grandson Kai.  She is also survived by her cousin Judy Bee and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara’s greatest joys were serving her God Jehovah and spending time with her family and her spiritual family.  She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on December 3, 1950 and was a member of the Riverview Congregation in Toledo, Ohio for over 72 years.

Some of her hobbies were crocheting, cross-stitching, playing the piano, and watching college football, especially her Michigan Wolverines.  She loved to sit outside on her deck watching the birds and feeding the squirrels. She also loved to visit Marblehead Lighthouse and sit near the lake.

A memorial service will be held on January 21, 2023, at 3 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 224 Lemoyne Road, Northwood, Ohio.
