Obituary

Timothy Irey McCormick, 54, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away on September 7, 2021. Tim was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 11, 1967. He was a devoted and proud father of his two sons, Matthew and Joshua, whom he loved deeply.

 

Tim worked for the past 5 years at United Process Controls and traveled extensively as an industrial furnace installer and technician. He was a brilliant handyman, and was always generous with his time and talents, helping family and friends. Those who know him will remember his loving presence, his joy spending time with family and friends, and his passion for his Harley Davidson.

 

Also surviving are his parents, Barbara and George, brother Gene, sisters Diane Sheeley, Deb Less, Sandi Walterbusch, and twin sister Kim Slack and his former wife, Stacy McCormick.

 

Cremation will be handled by Habegger Funeral Services, where online condolences can be made. Friends will host a Celebration of Life on September 25th, 1-6 pm, at Sylvania Area Family Services, 5440 Marshall Road, in Sylvania. Memorial contributions in memory of Tim can be made to the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation at www.ohiospf.org or Sylvania Area Family Services.
