Thomas David Mayberry entered this world on December 31st, 1967, 3 minutes before midnight, and fell asleep in death on April 27th, 2021. He was the eldest son of Thomas F and Gloria J Mayberry and sister to Lisa (Mayberry) Rozek and brother to Todd (Andrea)Mayberry. Tom was uncle to Madison, Marisa, Jeanna, Maya, Skyler and Tessa. He was a great uncle to Troy and Lilith Mayberry.
Tom was preceded in death by his grandparents Guy and Edna Mayberry and Harvey and Alice Wire as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is survived by his parents, sister, brother, nieces and nephew.
Tom graduated from Genoa High School in 1986, he also attended Penta County Vocational school and completed the Cement Trades program. Following graduation, he worked for Guardian industries in Millbury, Ohio.
Tom had the privilege to grow up as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was baptized on September 28th, 1985. He had the opportunity to auxiliary pioneer and work on many building projects. He helped with the construction of the Belleville, Michigan Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He also worked at conventions and assemblies as a volunteer, working in the food service department as well as helping in the parking department. These were some of Tom’s favorite memories.
Tom also loved the outdoors. He liked to hunt, fish, and play any sport imaginable. He loved the outdoors so much that he would just go into the woods and sit and watch the birds and listen to nature. Tom was an outgoing and generous individual, he would organize many activities for the young ones that he was in contact with, from backyard football games to playing basketball at the Brunner gym, playing the farming game until early the next morning, Tom spearheaded it all and many of us probably participated in something that he organized. He will be greatly missed.
