Sheri L. Hinz

June 26, 1963 - February 18, 2021

Sheri L. Hinz (Brewer) 57, of Holland OH, went to be with the Lord on February 18, 2021 at St. Anne’s Hospital.

Sheri was one that appreciated and pursued simplicity in life, and while she had her share of struggles, she never lost her faith in God or the love and devotion felt for her family. She will be fondly remembered and missed for many reasons, but mostly for her kind soul, loyalty, and never failing sense of humor, as she had the gift of finding humor in the most unexpected situations, always leading to her well known, and infectious laughter. Sheri was also passionate about helping others, so she pursued and achieved both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Social Work, from the University of Toledo, and spent several years working for various charitable organizations. She was particularly passionate about her help with homeless veterans in the community.

Sheri was preceded in passing by her Father William Brewer Sr., Uncle, John Goodrum, Nephew Allan Ostrander, and life long friend, Robert Hinz.

She is survived by Daughter Debi White (Aaron) Grandsons Chase and Caden White of Cocoa Fl, Son Matthew Hinz (Jenni), Grandaughters, Maddelin and Audri Hinz , Mother, Yvonne Lindauer(Charles), Sisters, Bonnie Ostrander, Annette Brewer, Melissa Koch ( Michael) of Sarasota Fl, Shelly Slough, Brother William Brewer JR, Life Partner, Joe Stewart, and her Best Friend, and Fur Baby, “Booker”.

We will gather to celebrate Sheri’s life on March 6, 2021 at The American Legion, 1074 Clarion Ave, Holland Ohio, from 1-4. This will be open to all who want to attend, but because of restrictions on capacity, and dinner being served, we would ask that you RSVP through her Sister, Shelly Slough on Facebook.
