Obituary for Sarah Maude Winter

Sarah Maude Winter, 93, of Grand Rapids, OH passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Mercy Hospital, Perrysburg, OH. Sarah was born in Neapolis, OH to the late Levi and Emma Shank. Besides her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband: Glen Winter; son: Gary Winter; granddaughter: Kendall Hill; 9 brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memory is her children: Dennis (Pam) Winter, Peggy Thomas (Rock Whetsel), Sharon (Mike) Hill; grandchildren: Micheal (Dawn) Winter, Abbey (Kyle) Killam; great grandchildren: Alexa (Carlos) Matta, Brandt, Rowan, Reagan; step grandchildren: Jodi Perry, Julie Burch.

The family would like to especially thank Joann, Jody, Sheri, Deb, Kailey, Sue, Jenna and Allison for their compassionate care and support.

Sarah was a long time member of the Neapolis Church of Christ. She was a gold star mom to her son, Gary. She enjoyed camping and travelling but her true love was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sarah's honor may be made to Neapolis Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held at Neapolis Church of Christ, 8221 Main St., Neapolis, OH on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 4:00P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 also at Neapolis Church of Christ at 11:00 A.M.
