Heartbreaking to hear this heartbreaking loss. I had the privilege of coaching this young man for two of his hogh school years. Hands down one of the best souls i have ever come across. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of Pastor Bobby sitting with me while my 86 year old mother had heart surgery in the fall. It was so cold & early (6am) yet Bob arrived to pray with us & calm the anxiety pre surgery. In the cold waiting room we shared coffee, a blanket, our life stories (BGSU alumni), family and laughs. When a niece texted I said I would respond when I knew something, we shared how much joy nieces bring to our lives. He glowed with pride of being an uncle & his smile & twinkle in his eyes confirmed his deep feeling. I had to make him leave that day... he just couldn't stay warm even with his winter cap w ear flaps on his head. I gained a friend that day. We kept in touch since. I often sent a text to say I was thinking about him. With Bobs passing I ham saddened that I have lost a friend. I smile that I was blessed to have had him for a short time. Hugs & comfort to his family, friends and parishioners. A special hug to the niece that made him an uncle & put a twinkle in his eyes! Rest well my friend

So shocked to hear the news of Bob’s passing..my wife and I knew him from working in the produce section at Meijer..we would look forward to talking to him weekly. He was such a very nice young man that would go out of his way to help. That was when he was going to college, then I ran into him there about 1 year ago and had the chance to visit with him again....so sad that we’ll never get to see that smiling face again...God bless Bob

Bob was such an awesome mentor in my life. His personality, laughter, and character, will be missed daily for so many. Bob always knew what was best and I believe God does have a special place for him. "Adventures" never stopped with Bob! He would agree the best adventures were the ones when he was able to connect with someone and leave behind a little bit of hope and or peace in there lives. You will be always be missed my brother!

The service, which will be held in the Hoover Auditorium located at 119 W. 3rd Street, Lakeside, Ohio 43440 will also include the Sacrament of Holy Communion. After the service (approximately 9:00 pm), please go directly to the stage so you may receive the candle that was lit in honor of Bobby. I am so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. His health issues were more than any one person should ever have to handle but he did over and over again. He fought a good fight. I feel sure there is a special place in heaven for people like him.

So sad to hear this news. Bobby was the sweetest person. My boys still remember him playing with them at the park when Kylee and Megan had softball games. We all talked about that a lot tonight and smiled when we talked about him. Love and hugs to you all. Ginger.
