John loved and enjoyed many things like working alongside his wife and father-in-law (George) at Carpets Beautiful.  He was the Director of the Golf Channel volunteers for the Marathon Classic.  He enjoyed watching golf and football cheering for the Packers and Michigan.  He was a District Education Officer for the 11th Masonic District.  Past Master of Rubicon Lodge #237, Chief Aide for the Zenobia Shrine, Director of Zenobia Evzones, and Master of Ceremonies for Lodge of Perfection-Valley of Toledo-AASR.  He was also a member of Toledo Commandery #7, Triune Chapter Order of Eastern Star #344, honorary member of Tecumseh Lodge #69, and several other bodies of the Masonic order.
