Ferris “Kip” Kepling, 93, of Liberty Center, Ohio and formerly of Grand Rapids, Ohio passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Mercy St. Anne’s Hospital.
Ferris is preceded in death by: wives Doris Kepling and Nelda Kepling; parents John and Imo Kepling; grandchild Josh Koczergo; great grandchild Caydyn Eagleton; step grandchild Dana Hefflinger; siblings Harold, Jay, Cecil, Robert, Richard, and Eleanor Barton; brother-in-law Raymond Woodling and sister-in-law Carol Woodling.
Ferris is survived by: daughter Linda (Rick) Caudill; son Dan Kepling; sister Glenna Greener; step children Dan (Deb) Hefflinger, Tom (Mary Ellen) Hefflinger, Ronda (Rick) Miller, Larry (Denise) Hefflinger; grandchildren Jessica (Brad) Simon, Justin (Britni Williams) Kepling, Andrea Woodall, Rick (Courtney) Caudill: step grandchildren Chad (Julie) Hefflinger, Nick (Heidi) Miller, Scott (Kate) Hefflinger, Brittany (Brent) Labie, Jesse (Erica) Miller, Andrea (Derek) Francis, Corissa Hefflinger, Rachel (Tom) Palmer; 18 great grandchildren and 16 step great grandchildren.
Ferris was a member of Alva N. Sidle American Legion Post #232; Grand Rapids Masonic Lodge #289; the Zenobia Shrine and Liberty Center UMC. Ferris loved camping and baking. He especially loved spending time in Florida and his Legion friends.
Contribution in his name may be made to the American Legion and Liberty Center UMC.
Visitation will be held Wednesday February 3, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Liberty Center UMC at 307 East Street, Liberty Center, Ohio 43532. A Masonic Service will begin at 10:00 AM, with religious service at 11:00. Burial will follow at Beaver Creek Cemetery.
