Charles Dean Callan

Charles Dean Callan Jr., 19, of Toledo, OH passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020. Charles was born in Rome, Georgia to Kevin Sekel and Margaret Callan and also Charles Callan Sr. Besides his parents, Charles is survived by his special parents: Larry Lanting and Tiffany Dukett; adopted son: Jaxon Marshall; sisters: Chasity Callan, Debra Higginbotham, Gloria Sekel; adopted sister: Bianca Lanting; brothers: Coty Higginbotham, Nick Callan; adopted brothers: Kayden Lanting and Matthew Meyers.

He is preceded in death by his adopted sister: Victoria Meyers; grandmother: Virginia Louise Wright.

Charles was the sales manager for East Toledo Firewood. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, rapping, being on lemonland, detailing and cleaning cars and lawn scaping. Charles was a loving son, brother and a friend to so many who will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 @4:30 P.M. at Habegger Funeral Services, 2001 Consaul St., Toledo, OH 43605. National Suicide Prevention please call 1-800-273-8255. Due to COVID-19, regulations and standards all visitors are required to wear facemasks and maintain social distancing at all times.
